Cakes by K is a cottage bakery in McDonough, Georgia specializing in custom cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and other handcrafted desserts. We love helping make birthdays, weddings, and special occasions memorable with fresh, made-to-order treats. In addition to custom orders, we also operate a weekend roadside bakery stand featuring a rotating selection of baked goods announced through Facebook.

About the Baker

Hi, I'm Kala Murdock. I'm a married mother of four boys. This all started years ago with my oldest son's first birthday cake. I enjoy bringing people's vision to life for their special moments, and love to do original work! Cakes by K has been my vision, and I'm glad that you can be a part of it!
